HoloTouch Powers Plug and Play Touchless Holographic Interface

Darien, Connecticut, August 30, 2004 – HoloTouch, Inc. (www.holotouch.com) and Atlantex Corporation (www.atlantex-usa.com) today announced the launch of a fully functional touchless holographic interface, empowering operators to enter commands and data into a wide range of electronic equipment by simply passing a finger through holographic images of “keys,” floating in the air at a convenient location. Powered by, and delivering data to, the USB port or other ports of a standard PC, this device projects 1-inch square floating holographic images of its “keys” several inches in front of the hardware, is programmable and comes with all necessary software and the sensors needed to detect an operator’s interaction with the floating holographic images as well as free support. Further information about this new product, including specifications, can be obtained at www.holodemo.com, a site maintained by HoloTouch’s licensee, Atlantex, where it can also be ordered. R. Douglas McPheters, President of HoloTouch, Inc., added: “this compact new device demonstrates there are no practical barriers to using our innovative touchless holographic actuation and control technology in a wide variety of electronic equipment including those sold in the automotive, banking, factory-floor, gaming, kiosk, leisure, medical, military, personal and home electronics and toy markets, just to name a few. This unit is available for debugging by potential licensees of our technology as well as those interested in understanding how the advantages of HoloTouch will improve their interface products by enhancing convenience, durability and hygiene while adding sizzle. HoloTouch also offers its licensees the holographic and opto-electronic design and engineering services needed to ramp up specific applications of our patented technology.”
